Rev. Dr. Mathew Abraham C.Ss.R, MD

 

Fr. Mathew is a Medical Doctor and a Public Health Professional who chose to become a Catholic Priest in order to serve the larger society  with an undivided heart. He has an MBBS degree from Kottayam Medical College, Kerala, and a post-graduation in Community Medicine, from CMC Vellore. As part of his journey to priesthood, he was also trained in Psychology, Philosophy, Theology and Spirituality.

He has been in leadership positions in Catholic Healthcare over a decade, as Health Secretary of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) and currently as the Director General of Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI). He has also been the Chairman of the Technical Resource Group (TRG) instituted by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Government of India. Currently he holds the position of President of the Christian Coalition for Health (CCH) and the Chair of LINC Asia, a pan-Asian Disability Inclusive Network. Fr. Mathew is passionate about promoting Compassionate, Affordable and Quality healthcare, especially for the people at the margins of the society

Dr Pradeep Ninan

 

Dr Pradeep Ninan hails originally from Bangalore and did his MBBS, MS (Gen Surg) and MCh (Paed surgery) from CMC Vellore. He then worked in CMC as an asst prof and then assoc prof in Paed surgery. For some time during this period he also served as Missions Coordinator of CMC. However, over the years, he has also spent about 10 yrs working as a rural surgeon with the Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) in various rural mission hospitals in Assam, UP, Bihar, and Uttarakhand. He has also conducted surgical camps in Orissa, MP, Jharkhand and Himachal. For the last 4 years, he was based in Madhepura, rural Bihar, where in addition to running a 60 bed mission hospital, he spent  around 10 days every month working with a project with CARE India, traveling to almost all the district hospitals of Bihar, mentoring the government doctors and nurses and trying to improve the care of the newborn in district hospital and PHC labor rooms, and in SNCUs across the state. Dr Pradeep Ninan is a talented musician and writer. He is currently based in Porvorim, Goa.

Dr Sita Rama Budaraju

 

Dr. Sita rama budaraju is Currently working as Medical Head – Tata Trusts; leading teams for Electronic Health Record project, Telemedicine, Maternal and Child Health Project; Communicable Disease Control Project.
Proven skills to implement IT standards, procedures & processes that result in operational excellence and improved business satisfaction.
Proficient in mapping hospital requirements, custom designing solutions and troubleshooting complex information systems across locations

Sr Dr Beena Madhavath UMI

 

Sr. Dr Beena UMI Belongs to the Congregation of Ursulines of Mary Immaculate. She obtained her MBBS and MS Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore-India.  She has a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital Gurgaon and Fellowship in Laparoscopic surgery from Kiel University Germany. She Completed Certificate course in Healthcare design and implementation from Melbourne University Australia. Presently she is the Deputy Director of the Holy Family Hospital and also works as a Consultant Gynaecologist.

Her other responsibilities include Provincial Councillor for Medical Apostolate of Sacred Heart province of UMI Sisters, National President of the Sister Doctors Forum of India, Health secretary  for the Mumbai Arch Diocese
